The RSA306B uses your PC and Tektronix SignalVu-PC™ RF Signal Analysis Software to provide real time spectrum analysis, streaming capture and deep signal analysis capabilities for signals from 9 kHz to 6.2 GHz, all in a low-cost, highly portable package that is ideal for field, factory, or academic use.

Watch this video to see how Digital Phosphorus Technology, or DPX reveals signals that your old spectrum analyser might be hiding from you. DPX is a Tektronix patented acquisition mode that performs the hardware DSP processing and rasterizing of the samples into pixel information in order to reveal signal detail like never before. It gives a truly “live” view of the RF signals, with its colour-grading feature allowing users to see different signals at the same frequency, but separated by either time or power levels. You can literally see signals hidden beneath other signals!

SignalVu-PC brings benchtop and field features to the RSA306B

The RSA306B operates with SignalVu-PC, a powerful program that is the basis of Tektronix performance signal analyzers. The software controls the spectrum analyzer acquisition and updates measurement displays continuously.

The base version ships free with the product; add options for Bluetooth testing, WLAN testing, P25 compliance testing, pulse analysis and modulation analysis to configure the software for your application.

Be In Two Places at Once

With DataVu-PC 3.11, you can now record any signal of interest. Use triggers to start recording and minimize storage requirements and automate your signal search with tools like frequency mask, pulse descriptor words and smart markers. Couple DataVu-PC with two Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers, and you can record and examine two independent frequencies and spans simultaneously. For example, if you’re searching for a specific signal, you can see a very wide bandwidth in one display and zoom in to see certain signals in another display.
