Vicom has established high technology service and warranty support facilities in both Melbourne and Sydney for the Australian, New Zealand, South East Asian and South West Pacific markets.
These service centres provide full technical after-market support (including service, repair and warranty) for a wide range of electronic and telecommunications equipment including Vicom supplied product and services together with contract service facilities for third-party product (including Defence and communications equipment).

As a considerable amount of Vicom’s test equipment business is with Federal and State Government bodies and the balance with leading telecommunications companies, the requirement for solid and expeditious technical backup and support is well understood and fundamental to our success. Vicom technical staff are comprehensively trained, participating (as appropriate) in training conducted by the original manufacturer and are actively encouraged to continue their professional and technical development.
Vicom’s Service Centres are equipped with the latest test and repair equipment to handle complex electronic and fibre optic diagnosis and repair. A comprehensive inventory of spare parts is held on the premises and is supported by rapid-response supply services from the original equipment manufacturers. An extensive computer database provides a means of tracking product and individual unit service history. Service work is performed to manufacturer’s specifications and is covered by a limited three months warranty
Vicom is committed to satisfying our customers’ total service expectations. Our service performance is characterised by a controlled and documented process, where Key Process Indicators (KPI) are measured and regularly reviewed to ensure high reliability work whilst minimising customer equipment downtime.
