Keithley Switching & Data Acquisition Systems

Keithley offers numerous options for data logging information from multiple devices for:

  • Environmental monitoring of DUT temperature and other parameters in a temperature chamber
  • Burn-in testing
  • HALT and HASS accelerated life testing
  • Failure analysis

Multimeter, data acquisition switch systems offer capacity as high as 576 channels with the precision measurement capability of 6½-digit and 7½-digit digital multimeters (DMMs).

In addition, Keithley provides multiple channel systems for testing automotive airbag inflator devices, wiring harnesses, and seat belt pre-tensioner actuator modules. Up to 40 devices can be tested in a single test setup with one instrument. The sourcing, measurement, and signal switching are all included in a compact 2U high, half-rack width instrument.

For automated testing of RF and microwave devices, Keithley provides a microwave switch system with bandwidth up to 40 GHz and 32-channel capacity.

DAQ6510 Data Acquisition and Logging, Multimeter System


The DAQ6510 is a precision data acquisition and logging system that creates a new level of simplicity compared with
the often complicated configuration and control found in many stand-alone solutions. A large 5-inch (12.7 cm) multi-touch
display will guide users through set-up, data visualization, and analysis, removing the necessity of a PC and custom
software for many applications. If you prefer or require a PC, a complement of IVI and Labview drivers and the Keithley
KickStart Instrument Control Software are available to help with any application.

Series 3700A Systems Switch/Multimeter


The Model 3706A system switch with high performance DMM contains six slots for plug-in cards in a compact 2U high enclosure that easily accommodates the needs of medium to high channel count applications. Series 2790 Airbag and Electrical Device Test System

These high voltage, multichannel resistance measurement solutions speed and simplify electrical checks of airbag inflators and a variety of other automotive electrical test applications. They combine all the sourcing, measurement, and signal routing capabilities required to measure insulation resistance and conductor continuity in one compact, affordable package. A memory pattern test sequencer allows the mainframe to store and execute pre-programmed test sequences to ensure high testing throughput.

The Model 2790-H is a single-module system designed for both low current and high voltage ohms (10MΩ to 1GΩ) applications. This "base" system provides all the capabilities needed for electrical testing of either single- or dual-stage inflators in single osition test stands (for example, test stands that test only one single- or dual-stage airbag at a time).

Model 2790-L Airbag & Electrical Device Test System
The Model 2790-L is configured for low voltage source/ohms-only measurement applications, such as continuity-only testing of side/seat airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners or other programmable I-source resistance applications in which high voltage resistance testing is not required but precise control of source current is.

The Model 2790-HH is configured for applications that require parallel testing or high voltage "soaking." Like the Model 2790-H, it is designed for both low current and high voltage ohms applications and can test either single- or dual-stage inflators. However, with two plug-in modules, it also has the capacity to test two inflators at once, maximizing test throughput.

Model 2790-HL Airbag & Electrical Device Test System
The Model 2790-HL is designed for applications where it is preferable to segregate high voltage sourcing/ohms measurement and low current sourcing/ohms measurement into two separate modules. This design was developed for use in combination testing applications, such as inflator electrical checks of safety steering wheel or seat assemblies that also include switch or other ancillary device tests.

Model 2790-A

Model 2790-A Airbag & Electrical Device Test System
The Model 2790-A, which is similar to the Model 2790-H, enables high voltage ohms measurements down to 1MΩ.

With the addition of a Model 7702 40-channel differential multiplexer module (part of the Integra family of switch/measure solutions), the Model 2790-A + Model 7702 opens the door to higher channel count applications, such as hi-pot/continuity testing of connectors, harnesses, and power distribution devices up to 500V (internally sourced) up to 40 channels.
